Memorandum of Understanding on TIMUN and Young Delegate project Featured

On December 3, 2018, Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) together with the Regional Office for Central Asia of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Youth Union of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Tourism Development signed the Memorandum of Understanding on TIMUN and Young Delegate project.

The main objective of the Memorandum is to create a basis for cooperation, mutual understanding between the parties in order to achieve further common goals towards the creation and operation of the TIMUN platform (Tashkent International Model UN) and the “Young Delegates”.

The conference is held to support the implementation of the Doha Declaration and the conference is supported by the Education for Justice (#E4J) Global Initiative. The Resource Guide developed by the E4J, is designed to assist organizers in conducting MUN allowing them to work with the mandate of UNODC at the highest quality.
