WIUT student receives grant
Sturgeon Capital has awarded a scholarship to level 4 BSc in Finance student Mamatkulov Khusan, to cover his tuition fee at Westminster International University in Tashkent.
Sturgeon Capital is a London-based award winning Investment Company with more than 10 years of experience in investing in the “New Silk Road” region in Central Asia and the Caucasus. For the first time, Sturgeon Capital ran a competition among WIUT finance students for the chance to get sponsorship for the academic year 2020-2021. Excelling at the interview stage and with academic scores of 75.5%, Mamatkulov Khusan became overall winner.
The Rector of WIUT, Bakhrom Mirkasimov congratulated Khusan on his achievement and wished him success in all his endeavours. The Rector also thanked Sturgeon Capital for their good will and support, as well as for providing excellent opportunities for students to further their careers. Sturgeon Capital and the University also discussed how they could cooperate further to provide on-going support for students in developing their professional skills.
