WIUT welcomes the Ambassador of India in Uzbekistan
On 16th April 2021, WIUT welcomed H.E. the Ambassador of India in Uzbekistan Mr. Manish Prabhat with guest lecture on “The Role of Diplomacy in International Relations: Structure, Opportunities and Challenges”.
Manish Prabhat assumed charge of the Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan in September 2020. Prior to this, he was a career diplomat who has served in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi and in India’s Missions abroad in Moscow, Yerevan, Milan, Paris and Washington D.C.
During the talk, Mr. Prabhat gave insights into the history of diplomacy, stages of its evolvement and changes over the years. He highlighted the importance of building the Strategic Partnership between countries to develop international relations and to establish a peaceful world. The talk was followed by Indian-Uzbekistan bilateral relations, and the role of the Embassy of India in promoting the bilateral trade and investment, and the importance of Uzbekistan as a tourist destination and a trade partner for India.
WIUT students enjoyed the meeting as it was a great opportunity for them to learn more about the diplomacy and its role in mutual understanding and strengthening relationships between countries.
