WIUT student wins ‘UrbanTech Hackathon’
We are proud to announce that WIUT Level 4 Business Information Systems student Dildora Yuldosheva, along with her team ‘SPACE’, was crowned winner of the ‘UrbanTech Hackathon’, a nation-wide programming competition.
The competition was held from 20-22 May, with a total of 27 teams competing across 4 categories.
During the 3-day hackathon, each team was asked to present their project in one of the 4 categories. In the "Information technology in public life" category, the "SPACE" team came out winners, with their concept of an easy-to-use platform for the development of freelancing in Uzbekistan. The team, made up of programming and design students, was awarded 37,500,000 soms. Dildora Yuldasheva, a member of the SPACE team, came up with the idea.
