WIUT students receive scholarships from Sturgeon Foundation
Sturgeon Foundation was established by Sturgeon Capital, London-based investment firm with a decade of experience in the 'New Silk Road' region. For three years, they have partnered with Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) to award scholarships to talented finance students and future leaders of Uzbekistan.
Two scholarships, presented in a ceremony attended by Sturgeon Foundation’s Chair, Carol Graham, and the British Ambassador to Uzbekistan Timothy Smart cover a full year's tuition fees at WIUT. Risolat Nigmatullaeva, a Level 4 BSc Finance student and Gulnoza Abdullaeva, Level 6 BSc Finance student are the recipients of this prestigious scholarship.
Through scholarships like these, the Sturgeon Foundation in partnership with WIUT contribute to Central Asia's financial and human development, shaping the next generation of competent young professionals.
