As part of its 19th anniversary celebrations, the WIUT Sports Centre and Student’s Union jointly organised tournaments in football and basketball, where both university employees and students had the chance to compete with each other. Additionally, as part of the ongoing collaboration between WIUT and local schools and lyceums, the students of 3 schools of Shayhantohur district and the WIUT lyceum also took part in a competition.

The 5 teams who made it to the final stage battled it out for gold, silver and bronze medals. We would like to congratulate all the teams for their participation and are delighted to announce the results of the tournament.

1st place: The students of scholol number 41
2nd place: WIUT Lyceum students
3rd place: WIUT CPFS Team

At the end of the competition, gifts and certificates were presented to participants by the Rector of the Univerisity, Bakhrom Mirkasimov.
