This strategic partnership of WIUT, the Ministry of Health and UNICEF is an exciting opportunity to join efforts in order to:
- recognize the special needs of adolescents and ensure their needs are addressed both comprehensively and sensitively through costing of national adolescent health strategy and action plan; and
- Improve the understanding of adolescent’s health, well-being and sustainable development, and encourage dialogue and participation of all implementing partners in initiatives aimed at improving adolescent’s lives.

The workshop aimed to train representatives of ministries on the data collection tools and methods using OneHealth Tool - a model used for supporting national strategic health planning – developed by the World Health Organization. The tool facilitates an assessment of resource needs associated with key strategic activities and their associated costs, with a focus on integrated planning and strengthening health systems.
