Summary of Position and Key Responsibilities

As a key leader in the Faculty, the Associate Dean on Research and Partnership (ADRP) provides strategic research leadership to support development of capacity and excellence in the achievement of the Faculty’s research goals and objectives and play a crucial role in delivering the University's strategic objectives for education and research through the development and oversight of collaborative partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate shall hold the rank of associate professor or professor, preferably with an earned research doctorate, or in progress toward a doctoral degree, preferably from an international university.  The ADR must have a proven track record as a researcher and scholar as evidenced by grant capture, research dissemination and graduate student supervision; broad experience in the University, and understanding of the current context and environment of research funding and external partner communities. He/she must also have experience leading and managing effectively projects/programs, or other significant management responsibilities at the departmental or Faculty level.
