Academic Round Table was held between Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Poland
On July 11-12, a round table commenced in Warsaw, Poland, emphasising the broad collaboration between higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and Poland.
Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, and Rectors from the universities of Uzbekistan, including the Rector of WIUT, Dr. Komiljon Karimov, as well as officials from Poland.
The discussion highlighted closer ties in higher education, science, and innovation, focusing on:
• Student mobility and academic exchanges
• Sharing IT and innovation achievements
• Strengthening scientific collaborations
As a result, WIUT signed Memorandums of Understanding with two Polish universities: WSG: The University of Economy in Bydgoszcz and the University of Gdańsk.
