WIUT and Juru Energy Forge Strategic Partnership for Academic and Industry Collaboration
On July 22, 2024, WIUT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with leading energy company Juru Energy. Founded in 2015, Juru Energy is an international energy consulting and engineering firm headquartered in London, UK, with a full office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and operations in Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, India, and Maldives. The company is dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
This agreement marks the beginning of significant cooperation between WIUT and Juru Energy, including the organisation of joint academic events, scholarships for the MSc in Research Methods for Social Sciences course at WIUT, and internship opportunities for the students. This collaboration is crucial in strengthening the relationship between academia and industry, with WIUT and Juru Energy leading the way.
