On 24–25 November, WIUT welcomed the The Republican Specialised Art School named after Pavel Benkov for an inspiring three-day creative collaboration, a masterclass marathon designed to immerse students in practical artistic work and expose them to real industry techniques.
Across the series, participants explored three distinct areas of art: Day 1 - Portrait Drawing Masterclass, led by renowned instructor Yunus Ali Murodov, who shared techniques used in preparing students for major art institutions; Day 2 - Basics of Ebru, introducing traditional marbling methods and prop-making foundations through guided demonstrations; and Day 3 - Fashion Design: Sketching Live Models, where students engaged in live fashion illustration to develop observational skills and refine their creative voice.
The sessions enabled students to learn directly from practicing artists, experiment with new artistic disciplines, and gain valuable insights into professional art practices. The collaboration also helped strengthen WIUT’s growing creative community and build new links with arts education in Uzbekistan.
