WIUT, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, recently hosted an insightful lecture dedicated to the prevention of crime among young people.
The session was led by Lieutenant Colonel Armon Aidarov, an esteemed representative of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who shared his insights on the factors contributing to youth involvement in crime and practical strategies for prevention.
The lecture provided students with a deeper understanding of how education, awareness, and responsible decision-making can reduce the risk of criminal behaviour. Lieutenant Colonel Aidarov emphasised the importance of early intervention, community engagement, and the role of academic institutions in shaping a law-abiding, socially responsible generation.
This initiative reinforced WIUT’s commitment to nurturing informed, ethical young citizens and fostering a safe and secure society.
