On 26 March, the MA in Creative Industries Management at WIUT partnered with AICP (Académie Internationale de Coupe de Paris) Tashkent for an intensive Upcycling Workshop.
Expert AICP lecturers delivered a hands-on masterclass for 15 selected students, sharing expertise in sustainable fashion and technical design. Participants explored upcycling - transforming surplus textiles and pre-owned garments into fashion prototypes, while applying management frameworks aligned with SDG 12.
The workshop also created a platform for postgraduate and undergraduate students to exchange ideas, build connections, and gain industry insights, highlighting the growing potential of Uzbekistan’s creative economy.
