On 9 October 2025, Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted a regional monitoring event as part of the Circular Economy and Sustainable Development modules funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme.
This meeting, held within the Round-trip to Higher Educational Institutions in Central Asia, gathered professors and experts from universities across the region and Europe. Participants discussed the integration of Circular Economy principles into WIUT’s academic programmes and shared insights on advancing sustainability education at the bachelor’s, master’s, and lifelong learning levels.
The event highlighted WIUT’s ongoing efforts to promote green transformation on campus and strengthen academic cooperation for a more sustainable future.
