On April 10, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between WIUT and the CERGE-EI Foundation. This agreement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration in the areas of research, student and faculty exchanges, and joint academic events.
The CERGE-EI Foundation supports market-based economic development, capacity building, and human capital development in post-socialist Eurasia through its innovative academic programs and support for the Prague-based CERGE-EI Institute.
The CERGE-EI Foundation delegation included Tony Claudino, President and CEO, and Dr. Katarina Stehlikova, Programme Director. During their visit, WIUT Rector Komiljon Karimov and the Senior Management engaged in discussions with the delegation, exploring collaborative opportunities in joint academic initiatives and broader institutional cooperation.
